We are seeking an organized esthetician who loves working in a fast-paced team environment. They will provide esthetics services including, but not limited to: Facials, manicures and pedicures, waxing, tinting and other bodywork services.

We teach daily beginner surf lessons, intermediate surf lessons and surf camps. As well as surf lessons, your daily duties would include maintaining surf and safety equipment and transporting equipment to the beach. Surf instructors are also trained to work in the office, and may split their time between lessons and retail.

Wage is negotiable depending on experience ($19+). We include 36 hours of paid training. Instructing experience is an asset, but not required. Minimum of 2 years consistent surf experience required.

Creative Salmon is Canada’s first producer of certified organic farm-raised salmon, growing Pacific Chinook salmon at 4 sites in the waters of Clayoquot Sound near Tofino.

Farm Technicians work five days out of seven. Sites are not camp-based; workers travel, by company boat, in and out each day. Farm Techs are responsible for general farm operations such as net cleaning, basic maintenance, assistance during harvesting, feeding and care of fish, operating boats and equipment, environmental monitoring, as well as other tasks. Because farming is a team effort, reliability and dependable attendance is key.

Starting wage is $22.01 per hour going to $22.51 after 6 months. Company paid benefits package, company matching+ RRSP, safety gear and wellness spending allowance after the wait period (3 consecutive months).

Respond to repair requests and make minor repairs and adjustments to heating, cooling, ventilating, plumbing and electrical systems - contact tradespersons for major repairs. Perform routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair. Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment. Make minor purchases as required. Perform daily inspections on the building systems and ensure smooth operation of the building systems. Provide general assistance to skilled trade persons such as mechanics, electricians, carpenters, plumbers, painters, and roofers. Coordinate the preparation of rooms and guest units prior to their arrival. Ensure that security and safety measures are in place. Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies. Supervise other staff members.

Maintaining and upkeep of hot tubs and some property maintenance, the majority at vacation rentals.
