Job Duties

• Greet guests with a smile and answer their questions as required.
• Responsible for checking guests in and out of the Hotel.
• Issues room keys, information about the resort and restaurant and our facilities
• Works in conjunction with the bell staff to assist guests to their rooms.
• Answers various questions from guests.
• Arranges transportation for guests.
• Computes bills, collects payment and makes change for guests.
• Makes coffee in the morning for guests.
• Runs various reports on the computer for management.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Count and verify cash, shift activity, keys etc
• Complete shift audits as required.
• Check all unresolved departures.
• Review service requests for arrivals.
• Ensure front desk is stocked with any items guests may require before housekeeping leaves for the day.
• Complete in-house bucket check.
• Complete welcome calls.
• Clean and tidy front desk area.
• Respond to telephone, e-mail, and in-person inquiries from clients, business partners, and other parties.
• Refer all inquiries to the appropriate individuals, divisions, or departments across the organization.
• Take and record telephone, e-mail, or written message for staff members.
• As a front-line worker, present a positive and professional image of the organization to all visitors, suppliers, inquiries, and other interactions.
• Provide information to staff and/or clients about special activities.
• Observe and report any security issues to the Resort management.
• Administer and manage inbound/outbound mail, including priority post, packages, courier services, and other correspondence.
• Performs other duties as required

About the Role

Stay Tofino is seeking a Guest Services and Administrative Coordinator to join our team. You’ll help keep our vacation rentals running smoothly and ensure every guest has a seamless, memorable stay. From coordinating reservations and supporting property management to assisting guests and owners, you’ll play a key role in creating exceptional experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Guest Experience: Respond to inquiries, confirm bookings, and provide timely, professional support to ensure every guest has a positive stay.
• Property Operations: Oversee cleaning schedules, coordinate maintenance and repairs to keep properties in excellent condition.

Work Schedule

Approximately 18–24 hours per week, with the potential for additional hours with our cleaning/laundry team if interested. Alternating weekend coverage is required.

Rhino Coffee House is currently seeking a kitchen supervisor to join our team.

Candidates should have 3-5 years experience in line cooking.

Pay $30-$35/hour (including tips) depending on experience. Housing options available.

Assist the head chef to manage the operations of the kitchen and help streamline the cooking and food preparation processes.

You are comfortable using online tools, like email and our scheduling software. You have a valid driver’s license with 3 or fewer demerit points and an acceptable driving record. You carry a minimum of $1M third party liability insurance on your 100% smoke-free vehicle and are willing to have a criminal records check, and regular driver abstract checks.

• This is an important leadership role. We ask that you dedicate at minimum a half day to one day weekly, although we can accommodate those able to give a few days a month or during times of the year (i.e. summer months, winter months).

• Your schedule will be provided three (2) days ahead of time and will depend on busy days/periods, your preferences and client demand. If you’re not getting as many rides as you’re available to take, we ask you to contact your Transportation Coordinator to discuss changing your availability.

• You are agreeing to initiate and respond with regular, consistent communication between the Transportation Coordinator, clients you are scheduled to drive and other partners including other Wheels of Hope drivers.

• As a volunteer, you are a representative and ambassador who promotes the mission and value of the organization.

Creative Salmon - Canada’s first producer of certified organic farm-raised salmon, growing Pacific Chinook at four sites in the waters of Clayoquot Sound near Tofino - requires a deckhand, primarily for its harvest vessel.

The position involves prepping the vessel for harvest, travel to farms, conducting harvest, monitoring the holds, offloading, clean-up/sanitation, and basic vessel upkeep.

Position Overview:

Employment Details:

This is a full-time, year-round position, 4 or 5 days negotiable, 7 hrs daily with a 45 min paid lunch break.

Mackenzie Beach Resort is looking for people to join our Maintenance team for the winter season (or longer!) Reporting to     the Maintenance Manager, you will be insuring the comfort and safety of guest by dealing with issues in a timely and professional manner.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Maintain the cleanliness of the outdoor areas at the resort performing tasks such as sweeping, leaf blowing, emptying garbages and recycling, cleaning the barbecues, picking up garbage around the property, etc.
• Maintain the gardens performing activities such as mowing lawns, picking up debris, raking, weeding, trimming bushes, watering plants, aerating gardens, etc.
• Some experience is preferred but not necessary, when performing basic plumbing, carpentry and electrical repairs that do not require a trades ticket.
• Performing a variety of activities in the cabins such as drywall repairs, painting, wood repairs and hardware replacements.
• Have some experience and be familiar with tools and power tools.
• Be responsible and able to follow all safety protocols of the resort.
• Work closely with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Perform other job-related duties and special projects assigned.                     

POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to the Housekeeping Manager, the Room Attendant will provide for the comfort of guests by ensuring that the cabins and public areas are clean to a high standard and presented in a professional manner. A Room Attendant promotes a positive image of the property to guests, and must be pleasant and friendly.
