Epic Pharmacy, located in Tofino, BC, is looking for a Guest Services Assistant who is fluent in English to join our team! 

We are an independently owned and operated Pharmasave retail pharmacy. We have established a dynamic and evolving health centre with a strong focus on patient care, natural medicines, active living, travel health, and our community.

Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for over all guest experience & pharmacy/health centre reputation
  • Participates as a member of the leadership team determining the strategic direction of the company as a whole
  • Ensures an outstanding guest experience for customers
  • Present a professional and charismatic presence on the floor. 
  • Act as the senior point of contact for the pharmacy/health centre management, including handling and resolving complex issues. 
  • Complete patient or client care in a confidential and professional manner. 
  • Assist in ensuring retail pricing is done appropriately and invoices are received accurately. 
  • Participate in inventory monitoring and stocking. 
  • Manage day-to-day aspect of pharmacy/health care centre (i.e. maintenance, cleanliness, customer service, daily correspondence, and inventory).  
  • Ensure accurate data entry of client information. 
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications 
  • One to two years’ experience in a similar role (preferred).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills – must be fluent in English. 
  • Ability to communicate regularly and openly with team members in a professional and personable manner. 
  • Ability to prioritize workload, multitask, be proactive, and work independently. 
  • Strong customer and client service skills. 
  • Highly detailed and well organized. 
  • High level of moral judgment for handling confidential information. 
  • Patient oriented and supportive while delivering high standards of customer service.
  • Must have secure and permanent housing.
