POSITION PURPOSE SUMMARY:
This position reports to the lead hands, who report to the Corps Officer.

BASIC FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Receiving.
• Sorting of donations.
• Pricing donations.
• Keeping the store neat and tidy.
• Perform or assist in the cashier’s duties.
• Cash-out at the end of the day.
• POS machine experience.
• Recycling.
• Sorting the clothing.
• Assess and value used clothing and household items.
• Interact with the public, following the Covid-19 related protocols.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Required Skills/Knowledge:
• Multi-tasking.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Superior interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift 20 lbs.
• Ability to stand on feet for long periods.
• Teamwork.
• Able to take direction and comply with the mission of The Salvation Army.
