Sylvan Home Builders Inc. is a successful  contracting business in Tofino/Ucluelet. We are looking for an experienced carpenter who works well with others and is interested in a versatile and challenging opportunity.

Sylvan Home Builders needs someone with a positive attitude who understands what is involved to complete each project in the safest, most efficient way. The ideal candidate has experience with renovations and building new homes. Good organizational skills are essential to understand daily tasks. May be asked to do material take offs and read construction plans. Excellent people skills and workmanship with the ability to clearly communicate with co-workers on site are important.

Experience working on construction projects including concrete, framing, siding and finishing, with solid foundation in all the tools and ability to work unsupervised.

Health Plan and Apprenticship Training Available.
