Custodians perform a variety of custodial duties, often independently and mainly inside a district school or building. Qualifications include a recognized course (Building Service Worker 1) in custodial methods and practices that includes knowledge of chemical and cleaning compounds used in commercial cleaning applications and their appropriate use and safety features. Applicants should possess a valid BC Driver’s License and have the physical ability and skills to operate a variety of equipment such as vacuum cleaners, polishers, automatic scrubbers and carpet cleaners.
All employees of school District 70 Pacific Rim are required to have a current criminal record check.
