The Foggy Bean Coffee Bar is located in beautiful Ucluelet, in one of the commercial spaces of a
beautifully renovated church overlooking the harbour. Our team is small and professional and the pace
is fast and fun during the summer season. We are open year-round for take-away service with a
seasonal outdoor patio. We pour our own coffee which is roasted at our headquarters in Ucluelet.
Established in 2012 we are grateful to serve and grow with our community!
Duties:
• Confidently use our espresso machine, a beautiful La Marzocco Linea PB ABR, adjust espresso
grinders and pour espresso drinks.
• Prepare iced drinks, a local tea menu and filter coffee
• Greet customers, take orders and use Square Register
• Cash handling
• Prep the coffee bar station for service, keep your station clean during service and clean/close
your station.
• Prep the front-of-house for service (baking is locally outsourced), keep station clean during
service and clean/close front-of-house.
• Close duties: clean, restock, wash dishes
This position has potential to continue past high season.
Qualifications/experience:
• Minimum one year speciality coffee experience in a fast-paced environment
• Food Safety certificate or willingness to take the course.
• Customer service experience
You must be available mornings/early afternoons. The ideal candidate works well with others and is
available May to Labour Day with the possibility of staying on into the fall/winter.
