Servers Wanted (Part-time and Full-time)

New breakfast restaurant opening near Harbour Quay

Job Description: We are seeking competent servers for a new breakfast restaurant in the Harbour Quay. You will be the face of our restaurant and responsible for our customers experiences. You will need to be quick on your feet and have a polite and friendly attitude.  You must be able to collaborate with all other team members to ensure a seamless experience for our customers. If you enjoy talking to people and thrive in a fast-paced workplace, we would love to meet you!

Responsibilities:

• Preparing tables with special attention to sanitation
• Attending to customers upon entrance to the restaurant
• Presenting menus, serving, and helping customers select food and beverages
• Memorising the food menu and drink list as well as any specials
• Taking orders and serving food
• Preparing coffee and drinks (training available)
• Answering customer questions or making recommendations
• Collaboration with other servers and kitchen staff
• Dealing with complaints or problems with a positive attitude
• Cleaning/clearing tables
• Issue bills and accept payment using Touch Bistro
• Maintaining a clean dining area and washrooms

Our pay scale is competitive and your compensation will be reviewed on a regular basis.  Starting at $17-$20 per hour based on experience.  Tip pooling policy in effect.
