Creative Salmon is Canada’s first certified organic farm salmon producer raising Chinook salmon in Tofino, B.C.
We are immediately seeking a Captain with minimum qualification of Fishing Master 4 to skipper our harvest vessel.
This is a fixed term contract (ending in late summer 2026) and we are flexible with offering either a payroll fixed-term employee role or agreeing to a contract for the term.
The shift is generally 4 days/week, 10-hour days; Sunday to Wednesday but overtime is often requested. The work pattern is harvest, off-load the next day, repeat.
The Tamanawas vessel is crewed with the captain and two (sometimes three) deckhands.
Open to discussing housing, recognizing accommodation in Tofino can be challenging.
