Qualifications 
  • Oversees accounting operations including financial statements, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll, ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards
  • Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. 
  • Establish and maintain internal control procedures and policies. 
  • Works with manager to prepare firm budget and rolling projections. 
  • Coordinates annual audit and tax return preparation and filing with external accountants. 
  • Responsible for regulatory filings and compliance matters. 
  • Responsible for human resources administrative functions including payroll, new hire procedures, employee policies, and benefits administration. 
  • Coordinates firm insurance coverage. 
  • Bachelors degree in accounting; CPA preferred. 
  • Demonstrated experience with managing day-to-day operations of the accounting function. 
  • Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of automated financial and accounting systems. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills required in dealing effectively with senior management, human resource issues, outside auditors, and regulators. 
  • Organized, detail oriented, and self-motivated.
