This is a part-time, seasonal position. The expected dates for this position are June 1 to October 14.

If not already based in Ucluelet or the surrounding area, employees must be able to relocate and acquire their own accommodations.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Greets all customers warmly and in a timely manner
  • Demonstrates product knowledge to assist customers in understanding the menu and make recommendations based on their preferences
  • Take and process customer orders accurately and efficiently using POS system
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction by proactively addressing inquiries and needs
  • Assists in food preparation duties as needed
  • Proficient in food preparation
  • Package food according to guidelines, maintaining high-quality standards
  • Follow health and safety regulations for food handling and sanitation
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work environment
  • Assist in opening and closing of the food stall before and after service
  • Ensure well-stocked inventory of products and supplies
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with the owner and manager

Qualifications 

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of food handling and safety practices
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive attitude and a collaborative approach
  • Ability to follow directions and a quick learner
  • Previous experience in the food industry is a plus but not required
  • Food Handler Certification

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum one year food preparation preferred
