The Tseshaht First Nation Administration Office is now accepting applications for Beachkeeper Attendants. 

These positions are summer student positions at 80 hours bi-weekly (40 hours per week). The students may be required to work on evenings and weekends. 
 
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintenance of park facilities
  • Patrols
  • Range of visitor services including guest Tseshaht cultural interpretation
  • Assist in Tseshaht/parks Canada archaeological dig in the Broken Group Islands 
Qualifications 

Eligibility / Requirement (s):

  • Tseshaht Youth (15-30) who is a student returning to school in September
  • Familiar with on the water safety protocols and with small vessel operations
  • Able to perform light maintenance/janitorial duties to assist with the upkeep of park facilities and camp sites
  • A genuine interest in pursuing a career in the Parks & Recreation field of work
  • Good Communication skills; able to interact positively with park visitors and assist with the orientation of visitors to park regulations
  • Do an online Youth Evaluations questionnaire before end of work tenure
