KEY PURPOSE
Coulson Aviation is expanding and looking to add new team members to the operations department. This is a great opportunity for a chosen candidate to grow your career with ongoing training and exposure to many different and unique projects ranging from large fixed wing aircraft and helicopters, as well as newly manufactured parts and automotive projects.
This position is based at Coulson Aviation’s airport facility in Port Alberni, B.C. Mechanical proficiency is required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Report to the Project Manager and assist the needs of the day. Duties will include, but are not limited to fueling heaters, cleaning equipment & the yard, picking up parts, making deliveries and organizing the hanger. In General you are supporting the organization as a whole.
Short-Term Expectations: Become proficient in the day to day operations and understand what is required to keep the key players supported to be able to perform their tasks.
Daily Expectations: Report to the Project manager to assess current needs of the day and which location will require attention.
Monthly Expectations: Assist the safety committee. Progressive learning and understanding how to assist the organization
Long Term expectations: Become a long term part of the Coulson team to assist in the fast paced, busy aviation environment.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL:
Have a valid Driver’s license
Be in good physical health – able to lift 50lbs
Has experience operating a forklift
