With the personalized, one-on-one support of an Employment Counsellor, we can help you to achieve your job search, career development, and training goals.

We are able to serve you in-person or virtually, and will work with you to provide help according to your needs. Please contact us at the numbers on the bottom of this page for more details.

  • Job Start supports (equipment, clothing or transportation for a new job)
  • Financial supports for short term courses, like First Aid, Foodsafe, or Serving It Right
  • Work experience placement services such as Wage Subsidy, Customized Employment, or job creation partnerships
  • Skills Training (post-secondary) - up to two years of financial help for tuition, transportation costs, child care, tools and more
  • Career Assessments
  • Specialized Assessments
  • Self-Employment Services to support you while you start a business

Eligibility for these services is variable, and it is assessed according to each person’s needs, so it's best to talk to us if you have questions.

People with disabilities may be eligible for additional supports, and single parents who receive income or disability assistance may be eligible through the BC Single Parent Employment Initiative.
