Windsor Plywood Ucluelet is looking for an upbeat, team oriented and self-motivated Yard Person / Van Driver.

Position Responsibilities:

The Yard Person loads and unloads materials and stores them in the proper locations while operating a variety of equipment. Other responsibilities include:

  • Greets and services customers in the yard
  • The Van Driver also delivers products and/or supplies to customers, and job sites

Qualifications 
  • Ability to do physical labour
  • Work outdoors 100% of the time
  • Customer service focused
  • Good team player and flexibility
  • Alert and safety conscious
  • Able to work weekends (Closed Sundays)
  • Able to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs.) to or from the lumber yard and trucks
  • Have working knowledge of building loads and securing cargo
  • Have working knowledge of lumber, building materials and related products
  • Forklift certification would be an asset
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Clean driving abstract
  • Good manual dexterity
