Early Childhood Educator Assistant

Alberni Valley Childcare Society is a non-profit organization that has been providing childcare programs and services in the Alberni Valley since 1972.  Our organization has continued to grow and expand to meet community need for Quality Childcare programs.  AVCS employs an average or 27 to 30 staff in 9 licensed programs.  Services provided include Infant and Toddler Care, Daycare (30months to School Age), Preschool and before and After School Care.  In addition to providing regular programming our organization is a strong supporter of inclusive childcare and has several positions that work providing Supported Childcare services to children in our programs.  AVCS programs provide care for approximately 180 families in our community at four separate licensed childcare facilities.
