In this position you will be required, but not limited to the following duties:

  • Conduct regular inspections and servicing
  • Update of aircraft technical records
  • Parts store receiving and upkeep
  • Removal and re-install of aircraft components (engine, flight control, equipment, etc.)
  • Structural repairs
  • Paint stripping, Grinding corrosion, painting
  • Maintenance of AMO facilities and harbor bases
Qualifications 

This position will report directly to the Director of Maintenance. The primary responsibility of this role is to work with management, employees, and our customers to ensure exceptional service and workflow. The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and credentials:

  • Has completed a Transport Canada-approved AME basic training program
  • No previous experience in aviation required, but any experience with fix wings on wheels or floats is welcome.
  • Knowledge of the basics of
    • Aircraft inspection methods
    • Sheet metal structure and riveting
    • Piston engines
    • Electrical systems
    • Flight control rigging
    • Corrosion assessment
    • Paint stripping and painting
    • Etc.

  • Ability to take direction well with minimal supervision
