Retail Team Associate

Naas Foods is an Indigenous-lead business based out of Tofino, BC focused on the development of premium and sustainable, kelp and seafood products. We aim to support our community and the ocean while offering the highest quality seafood products sourced exclusively from the local waters around Tofino and Vancouver Island. We are a growing business and we are looking for fun, motivated and passionate people to join our team.

The Retail Associate is responsible for carrying out the full range of duties of the position in a professional, responsible, accurate and timely fashion. The team member is expected to deliver exceptional customer service, be knowledgeable about the products, and actively contribute to a positive team environment. Outstanding employees will be given opportunities to work within our kelp harvesting and processing team later in the summer.

• Adhere to all Food Safety Protocols, Standard Operating Procedures, Health and Safety, and other programs and initiatives
• Provide customer service to meet customer needs
• Keep work area clean and presentable
• Wrap/process customer Seafood/Kelp orders
• Perform program execution and merchandising of product
• Handle and prepare Seafood product
• Increase store sales by actively promoting products
• Order and receive stock in accordance with company inventory control procedures as required
• Other duties as required
