Details 
  • Greet customers and discuss type, quality and quantity of garden centre plants/products sought for purchase
  • Advise customers on use and care of garden centre plants/products
  • Prepare plants/products for purchase
  • Prepare, process and complete sales transactions (cash, cheque, credit card or automatic debit payment)
  • Assist in display of garden centre plants/products
  • Assist with inventory control

Staff housing possible for the right candidate.

Qualifications 
  • Demonstrated sales and cash/credit card handling ability
  • Garden centre plant/product knowledge are considered an asset
  • Plant care knowledge
  • Physically fit - ability to lift
