Are you passionate about cooking and creating memorable dining experiences? The Best Western Plus Barclay Hotel is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Cook to join our kitchen team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working with fresh ingredients, we want to hear from you!

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Prepare and cook a variety of meals, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner items according to our menu standards.

Ensure all food is prepared in a safe and sanitary manner, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Assist in menu planning and development, including daily specials.

Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain a clean and organized kitchen.

Monitor food inventory and assist with ordering supplies as needed.

Quickly assist with Banquet Food Preparation on short notice event bookings

Provide exceptional service to guests by accommodating dietary restrictions and preferences.

 

Qualifications:

 

Current FoodSafe

Previous experience as a Cook in a hotel or restaurant setting is preferred.

Knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.

Strong attention to detail and a passion for culinary excellence.

Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Culinary degree or certification is a plus, but not required.
