Part-Time Recycling Depot Assistant

We are currently seeking a reliable Part-Time Recycling Depot Assistant to support operations at our Recycling Depot in Tofino.

This position is best suited for someone who is dependable, physically capable, organized, and comfortable working around the public, trucks, recycling material, and active depot operations.

Duties

• Assist with baling recycling products dropped off at the depot
• Organize and clean the inside of the building and surrounding property
• Pick up small recycling loads using a pickup truck
• Answer basic questions from the public
• Assist with small deliveries
• Load trucks with baled recycling
• Help keep depot operations safe, clean, and organized
• Support other recycling and depot-related tasks as needed
