A reliable Postal Delivery Driver is needed immediately to deliver parcels within the city of Ucluelet, BC.

No experience necessary - all training provided. A cargo van or minivan is an asset but a vehicle may be provided. Please inquire for details.
 

MAIN DUTIES

  • Organize and plan an efficient parcel delivery route
  • Scan parcels for delivery
  • Operate and drive a van or SUV to deliver parcels
  • Accurately complete and submit required documentation daily

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Meet and maintain all service requirements.
  • Perform deliveries as required, using proper parcel handling techniques 
  • Build positive relationships with internal contacts (managers, supervisors, employees, contractors) and external customers

 

SCHEDULE

This route currently runs Monday to Friday with some weekends during peak season.

 

Qualifications 

 

EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid driver's licence appropriate to the class of vehicle being driven, maintained at all times
  • Physically fit and able to lift 65 lbs.
  • Able to deliver all parcels assigned to the route area, or as required
  • Willing to complete a criminal record check and security screening
  • Dedicated, dependable, and committed to the role

  • Able to work independently and problem-solve on the go
  • Works well as part of a team and assists where needed
  • Strong customer service, organizational, and communication skills
