Looking for experienced Kitchen Manager who has the ability to work in fast-paced environment. Experience is essential preferably 3years+. Must be an effective communicator, enthusiastic, hardworking, helpful and a good team player. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask/knowledge of all aspects of the kitchen. We are in a service industry as well as a customer focused environment, applicants with flexible availability including working any day of the year is a requirement for this position. You will be required to order, receive product, maintain proper rotation, count inventory, and be able to manage and direct staff. Applicants must adhere to stringent cleaning policies & procedures, at all times meeting all needs and requirements of food safe. Must to be able to work Weekends, Mornings and Holidays, have the ability to arrange or cover shifts when the situation arises. Must have valid food safe with the expiry clearly shown. maintain food safe health and safety protocols at all times

Qualifications 

Must have 3years management experience

Responsibilities;

  • Executing cooking of food orders
  • Plating/garnishing ensuring high standard of presentation
  • Ability to train new employees
  • Ensuring staff follow company policies and procedures
  • Lead by example by taking an active roll in daily tasks & delegating to team members
  • Quality checking tasks have been completed to a high standard
  • Inventory control
  • Assisting to find cover for employee shift absence when required
  • on call/flexible weekend work essential
  • Must be able to work, day & night shifts including weekends
  • Effectively communicating to FOH team
  • Opening filling/maintaining line prep items
  • Assist with Prep Lists
  • Labelling & re-stocking
  • Receiving deliveries, maintaining food safety standards at all times as required
  • Ensuring all food items and equipment are stored appropriately
  • Maintaining temperature logs for fridges, freezers and holding equipment
  • Preparing, cutting, measuring and portioning ingredients accordingly as required
  • Maintaining a clean environment, washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, emptying trash
  • Carrying out any additional kitchen duties as assigned
  • Assisting Management with any other necessary tasks
  • Process Orders/Maintain stock system
  • Scheduling
  • Plan & execute food specials

Must have

  • Experience of working in a fast-paced kitchen environment

  • Ability to work within high pressured environment
  • Previous Management Experience
