Experienced Chambermaid

The Redford Motel is looking to hire a qualified individual to join our housekeeping team for this fast-paced position.

Details Regarding This Position:

• Must have 3+ years related experience
• This is a casual/part time position
• The shifts can be any day of the week depending on guest checkouts (this includes weekends and
• Holidays)
• The number of hours of work will range from 20 – 25 per week but might be more depending on motel
• occupancy
• Typically the shift will start around 10 AM

What A Work Day Will Consist Of:

• The main responsibility will be to reset the guest room back to how it was before it was occupied, this
• includes the items listed below (but not limited to):
• Vacuum carpeting and upholstered furniture
• Sweep and mop floors
• Make beds and change sheets
• Distribute clean towels and toiletries
• Perform laundry duties which include collect, sort and transport laundry to and from the rooms
• Clean kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
• Restock kitchen items such as glasses, comment cards, coffee and other amenities
• Handle and report lost and found items
• Reports any maintenance issues including burned out light bulbs
• Perform general cleaning tasks throughout the property as needed

What You Need to Qualify:

• Must have 3+ years related experience
• Previous cleaning experience is an asset, but we are willing to train if necessary
• Detail oriented and ability to recognize where and what to clean
• Flexible with hours and schedule
• Good communication and organization skills
• Be able to lift, pull and push a moderate weight
• Be able to follow instructions and procedures
• Comfortable taking directions and working under supervision
• Flexible and adaptable to changing needs
• Be comfortable and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
